Large Clay Baker for Family Meals

Now that the cooler weather is here, I find myself pulling out the cookbooks and thinking about making big meals and yummy desserts. While there are lots of family favorites we have during the summer, most of the meals revolve around using the grill outdoors. But when fall and winter rolls around, it’s time to break out the slow cookers and the baking pans for satisfying hot dinners with mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. I do bake during the summer too, mostly muffins, desserts, and light meals. Any time of year, one of my favorite baking dishes is my large Romertopf clay baker. Read the rest of this entry »
